KIM & ALASTAIR
ALLERTON CASTLE | NORTH YORKSHIRE
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT ALLERTON CASTLE
A venue fit for a queen just on the outskirts of York called Allerton Castle. I will never forget the first time I walked in to this place, I was blown away.
Kim and Alastair decided to celebrate their day is style in this outstanding venue.
The weather was a typical english summers day…wet!!!
I arrived at the venue at the same time as the bride and we all dashed in under umbrellas.
On to bridal prep and it was a very peaceful and calm morning spent with the bridal party. Downstairs Alastair and his boys were having a quiet game of snooker before the “i do’s”
The ceremony at Allerton Castle
Kim made an amazing entrance down the grand stairs and along the white carpet. A lovely moment looking at these two join hands, you could see how much they adore each other.
The speeches, meal and portrait pics
Time for the speeches. Heartfelt words from the father of the bride, Alastair and his best man and everyone was ready for their meals.
Whilst everyone was eating I had a look around the venue for potential portrait photos.
After the meals I pinched the couple for 15 minutes to walk about the venue and grounds for their portraits. We finished just as the heavens opened again so we dashed inside and I let them carry on mingling.
The cake cut and first dance
Soon after it was time for the cake cut and first dance, what a beautiful end to an amazing day. Their family and friends gathered around them as the danced in each others arms.
A perfect way to finish an incredible day.
Kim & Alastair is was a pleasure.
